What is the Scrum training and exam about?

The Scrum Training is a 2-day instructor-led classroom training that equips you with the knowledge of the Scrum techniques. The training is focused on the Professional Scrum Master Level 1 (PSM I) and all about the “PSM I” will be covered in the 2 days after which you can schedule and sit your exam online.

When will I sit my Scrum exam?

You will sit the exam after attending a training.

Do you guide on Scrum exam registration?

Yes, we guide on the Scrum examination. You can contact us if you are struggling with the exam registration and we will be willing to help.

How often is the Scrum training held?

Please, see our training schedule.

When does the Scrum training start and end each day?

The Scrum training starts at 8.30 am ends at 5.00 pm each day. If there’s a change, we will communicate it to you in the joining instruction.

What time shall I arrive at the training venue?

It is advisable that you at the venue 30 minutes before training starts.

Do I need to bring anything along for the Scrum training?

Not necessarily. We will provide you with training and writing materials such as notepad, pen, printed training slides etc. and a bag to put the training materials and other items.

Where do you hold the training?

We conduct training globally. However, our location is in Lekki, Lagos. To hold a training outside Lagos (anywhere within Nigeria), we require a minimum class size of 12 people. For training outside Nigeria, we will have to agree on how the training will work. Certainly, we would require more than 12 people.

How do I register for the Scrum training as an individual?

Payment validates your registration for the Scrum course. However, you can make payment on installment but full payment must be made before the start of the class.

How do I register for the Scrum training as an organization?

To register for the training, you send in a purchase order. Any other means can also be used to confirm that your delegates will be available.

Do I get a confirmation for my enrolment?

Once you make payment, we will send you ‘Joining Instruction’. This confirms your enrolment for the course. Asides this, it contains every other thing you need to know about the training.

No, but the training slides and a workbook will be provided for you during the training.

Is the Scrum training enough for me to pass the exam?

Yes, the training is enough for you to pass the exam as the entire Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) syllabus will be covered. Training slides will be made available to you in print so that at every point during the training you will know where we are. Our trainers avoid ‘death by PowerPoint’. During training, they make use of flip charts and whiteboard to explain each concept.

Do you give discounts?

If you consider how much we charge and the value you will get from our training, you will see that our fees are fully discounted. Please, refer to ‘What does the fee cover?’ However, if you have up to 5 people, we can agree on a fee that will work for you.

What is Scrum?

Scrum is an agile framework for managing and delivering products. It is designed for small teams who perform time-bound activities known as “sprints”. These activities may last one month or less and they track progress and re-plan in 15-minute stand-up meetings, called daily scrums. At the end of each sprint, the team must produce working software of high enough quality that would be delivered to a customer.
