  • Enrol for the CAPM: The CAPM is a project management certification by PMI that is not as demanding as PMP. The prerequisites for the CAPM exam include:
    • > A secondary diploma (high school diploma/global equivalent)

  • > It acts as proof of your project management knowledge and experience on a global level.
  • > It improves your earning potential. According to PMI’s most recent Project Management Salary Survey 11th Edition, certified Project Managers earn 22% higher on average than their non-certified counterparts.
  • > It immensely increases your self-confidence.

To know more about how the PMP qualification will benefit you, see our ‘PMP benefits’ page.

Of what benefit is PMP to my organisation?

The following highlights some of the benefits of PMP to any organisation

  • Customer retention: it encourages the delivery of quality products that are valuable to your customers which would lead to repeat customers
  • Adaptability: PMP provides a skill set that is globally recognised and is transferable across a variety of industries.

If the risk is positive, then you will be able to take advantage of it. Whereas, if the risk is negative, you will be able to minimize its impact on your project.
