What is the Fellowship about?
The Harrybaker Fellowship is a paid, full-time opportunity to advance your career by developing the skills needed to become a Trainer, Consultant, Facilitator, Mentor and Coach.
You will work alongside experienced management professionals who will mentor you in your career.
You will also have the opportunity to work with the big players within the private and public sectors in Nigeria to provide solutions to a number of management issues.
We’re looking for learners and doers with remarkable talent and limitless potential.
What are the Career paths?
You can only choose one from any of the three tracks below:
Project Management track
You will have the opportunity to help organizations and individuals to realize their investment in projects through training, consultancy, and implementation of appropriate tools.
As a Subject Matter Expert in the Project Management domain, you will be required to acquire these qualifications (at the expense of Harrybaker) for your knowledge and credibility – PMP, PRINCE2, Agile (Scrum, AgilePM, PRINCE2 Agile, SAFe), Change Management, MSP, MoP, and P3O.
Process Improvement & Business Analysis track
You will have the opportunity to help organizations and individuals to realize their investment in process improvement through training, consultancy, and implementation of appropriate tools.
As a Subject Matter Expert in the Process Improvement and Business Analysis domain, you will be required to acquire these qualifications (at the expense of Harrybaker) for your knowledge and credibility – Lean Six Sigma (Yellow, Green, and Black Belts respectively), Change Management, Business Analysis, MoP, MSP, and P3O.
IT Service Management & Governance track
You will have the opportunity to help organizations and individuals to realize their investment in IT service management through training, consultancy, and implementation of appropriate tools.
As a Subject Matter Expert in the IT service management and governance domain, you will be required to acquire these qualifications (at the expense of Harrybaker) for your knowledge and credibility – ITIL, COBIT 5, Change Management, MoP, MSP, and P3O.
What will be my job after the fellowship?
Develop instructional materials
This involves creating materials that will be used in administering training to our individual and corporate clients.
Deliver training programmes
This involves delivering training to both individual and corporate clients within your domain. This also includes preparing clients for globally-recognized certification exams.
Present webinars and seminars
In line with your domain, you will be required to present webinars and seminars for awareness purposes.
Provide advisory, consultancy and implementation services
You will work with clients to solve problems. While doing this, you will leverage different tools including our workforce and talent management tool.
You will be required to conduct research related to your domain.
Lead a consultative selling engagement
You will be required to lead a consultative sales engagement for our training services and workforce and talent management tool.
You will be required to do any other activity that will move the organization forward.

How does fellowship work?
The fellowship programme involves the following:
Stage 1: Application to fellowship
All interested and qualified applicants need to complete the online application form below. Before applying, read the criteria under the ‘who can apply to fellowship?‘ section and ensure you meet the criteria.
Upon submission of your application, your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted for the pre-interview phase if you meet the criteria.
Stage 2: Pre-Interview
We require all applicants who meet the pre-interview criteria to undergo some pre-interview activities. Details of this will be related to you if you meet the criteria.
This is your first chance to prove that you are a good fit for the fellowship programme. From the day you are sent the pre-interview activities, you have two weeks to complete them.
If you scale through this phase, you will be invited to be a part of an assessment centre.
Basic salary: ₦0
Stage 3: Assessment centre
The assessment centre activities include a host of tests to ascertain whether you are qualified for the fellowship programme.
If successful in this phase, you will be admitted to the fellowship programme.

Stage 4: Fellowship programme (12-weeks)
We believe the best way to learn is through an iterative cycle of Studying → Practicing → Teaching.
Therefore, the programme involves self-led/directed, project-based and peer-to-peer driven feedback curriculum. We believe in learning by doing.
Here, you will be required to agree to the terms and conditions of the fellowship programme which include a minimum of 3-year contractual commitment.
This will involve 12 weeks of an out-of-this-world dedication and seriousness to prove your readiness for the next phase.
If successful at this stage, you will be offered provisional employment that lasts for one year.
Basic salary: ₦150,000
Stage 5: Provisional employment
Upon successful completion of the fellowship programme, you will be offered provisional employment for 1 year.
At this stage, you are now expected to be proficient at your job. However, learning still continues.
You have to continually demonstrate consistent proficiency to guaranty the confirmation of your employment.
Basic salary: ₦250,000
Bonus: (up to ₦ 12M per annum based on performance)
Stage 6: Employment confirmation
After a year of demonstrating world-class proficiency at what you do, your employment will be confirmed.

Who can apply to fellowship?
You MUST understand and accept that the Fellowship Programme requires a minimum of 3-year contractual commitment.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written skill. Good command of English.
Appearance: Neat and well-groomed.
Passion: Passionate about your domain of interest.
Curiosity: Able to understand a potential client’s context through effective questioning and listening.
Coachability: Able to absorb and apply coaching.
Intelligence: Able to learn complex concepts quickly and communicate those concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
Physical Strength: Able to talk all day, all week.
Work ethic: Able to proactively pursue our company’s mission with a high degree of energy and daily activity.
Minimum 4-year post-NYSC experience
Minimum Degree holder
Other domain certifications (will be an advantage)
