How do I get certified?

Before we proceed, it is important to note that Agile Business Consortium owns the AgilePM methodology, while APMG International administers the examination. Therefore, APMG is the only global accreditation body and examination institute responsible for coordinating the AgilePM examination and qualification.

To get certified, you are required to sit and pass the AgilePM Foundation or Practitioner exam. However, before that, you should book your AgilePM exam with an APMG Accredited Training Organisation. It is highly recommended that you attend or receive AgilePM education before sitting the examination.

“As an Accredited Training Organisation [ATO] we are authorised to conduct both training and exam, but if you are interested in taking the exam alone, you can opt for it and sit the exam whenever you are ready”

What is the AgilePM® training plus exam about?

The Agile Project Management training plus exam is an instructor-led classroom training. After which, you will sit the AgilePM® exam. In summary, this learning option covers both training and exam.

How does the AgilePM® training plus exam work for each level?

This training lasts for a specified number of days, depending on the level.

AgilePM® Foundation: This is a 3-day training after which you sit the exam.
AgilePM® Practitioner: This is a 4-day training after which you sit the exam.


However, you can defer your exam if you are not ready to sit it at the specified time.

When you are ready to take the exam, you must let us know. We need a notice of up to three days before your preferred exam date to book your exam.

When will I sit my AgilePM® exam?

For both the AgilePM® Foundation and Practitioner, the exam comes after the training.

However, you can defer your exam if you are not ready to sit it immediately after the training.

Do you guide on exam registration?

You do not have to worry about the exam registration. We are accredited by APMG to conduct both training and exam. As such, we are responsible for exam booking and registration

When does the training start each day?

The training starts at 8.30 am each day. If there’s a change, we will communicate it to you in the joining instruction.

When does the training end each day?

The training ends at 5.00 pm each day. If there’s a change, we will communicate it to you in the joining instruction.

What time shall I arrive at the training venue?

We advise that you arrive at the venue 30 minutes before training starts.

What do I need to bring along for the training?

You don’t need to bring anything. We will provide training and writing materials such as notepad, pen, printed training slides, etc. In addition, we will give you a bag where you can put the training materials and other items.

Where do you hold the training?

We conduct training globally. However, our physical location is in Lagos. To hold a training session outside Lagos (within Nigeria), we require at least 12 people. For training outside Nigeria, we will have to agree on how it will work. Certainly, we would require more than 12 people.

How do I register for the training as an individual?

To register for the training, you must make payment in full or in installment. If you pay in installments, you should complete payment before the start of the class.

How do I register for the training as an organisation?

To register for the training, you can send a purchase order. In addition, you can use any other means to confirm that your delegates will be available.

Is the AgilePM Classroom training enough for me to pass the exam?

Yes, the training is enough for you to pass the exam. Our training is structured in a unique way to help you understand the course. As such, the training process is in three phases.

Firstly, we will share with you our pre-course (before the training). The pre-course familiarises you with the definitions, concepts, terminologies used in AgilePM® to prepare you adequately for the class.

Secondly, you will attend our instructor-led classroom training. The training covers entire the AgilePM® syllabus in its entirety . During the training, we will give you you will be provided with the training slides so that you can know where we are at any point in time. Our motto is “Learning by doing” and so, we strongly believe in this quote by Benjamin Franklin “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” As such, we will engage in group activities to enable you put what you have learned to practise. Moreso, our trainers avoid ‘death by PowerPoint’ by making use of flip charts and whiteboard to explain each concept. Also, they are ever-ready to answer your questions that may arise  from your industry-specific or organisation-specific scenarios, personal studies using the e-Learning, or what is being taught in class. Again, they can answer your questions because they are knowledgeable and experienced.

However, if after the training, you still feel the need to write the exam at a later date, you can. All you have to do is to give us a notice of at least three days before your preferred exam date.

Our AgilePM®® instructor-led live virtual training/course is designed to give you a ‘WOW’ learning experience. Participants in our virtual training leverage the power of technology to interact, assimilate, and share learning experiences.

How does Harrybaker’s AgilePM® virtual learning work?

To get the ‘WOW’ learning experience, we have designed our virtual training into three distinct stages:

Pre-class

Joining instruction: Once you have registered for the course, we’ll send you a “Joining Instruction”. This contains information about the training, how to join the live class, and what you require to have a hitch-free live-course.

Pre-course learning and assignment: We’ll send you the pre-course (containing assignment). The details about the pre-course will be contained in the Joining Instruction. We expected you to submit your assignment before the live-class.

Technical set-up and device testing: Our account managers will guide you through the testing of your device. They’ll also simulate the AgilePM virtual live class with you. 

In-class

Instructor-led virtual live class: The instructor will make learning fun and interactive by sharing his experience. To enhance learning, the live instructor will make use of screen-sharing, virtual whiteboard and other remote learning aids.  In addition, participants will engage in activities such as group work, end-of-concept quizzes, and questions can be asked in the live session.

Technical support: If you encounter any technical issue, our technical support will be happy to help.

Post-class

Are there technical requirements?

Yes, there are technical requirements, as described below:

   A computer or tablet or a smartphone. We highly recommend you use a computer (PC).

   A headset (or a microphone and speakers)

   A webcam (optional)

   A reliable internet connection 

   A reasonably quiet place

   Zoom video conferencing installed on your device. We recommend the app, as the web version has limited features.

To set up the Zoom Meeting in preparation for the live session, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Download Zoom application on your PC from https://zoom.us/support/download

Step 2: Launch the Zoominstaller.exe file to install Zoom on your PC

No. You can join the AgilePM live virtual training from any part of the world.
